Girona & Banyoles, Spain – The FEMCoach consortium is pleased to announce its upcoming major milestone: the 2nd FEMCoach International Seminar, which will take place on September 7th and 8th, 2026.
Organized in close collaboration with the University of Girona, this high-level international event will be hosted jointly with the 9th International Seminar on Sports Tactics and Techniques, offering a premier platform for academic exchange, empirical research, and practical coaching methodologies in female youth sport.
Advancing Research and Practical Leadership
Building on the successful outcomes of the project’s first seminar and recent scientific dissemination across Europe, this 2nd edition marks the integration of the entire FEMCoach framework—from initial diagnostic research and curriculum development to teaching materials, coach selection, and the digital e-learning platform.
The seminar brings together university researchers, sports scientists, elite and developmental coaches, and project partners to address critical dimensions of athletic preparation, youth development, and gender-inclusive sport governance.
