Nuno Miguel Correia Leite

Nuno Miguel Correia Leite currently holds a position of Associate Professor with habilitation at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, for teaching and researching in performance analysis, talent identification and development and youth sport in BsC, MSc and PhD courses. At this time holds a full position at the Research Center for Sports, Health and Human Development and has published more than 80 scientific articles in peer‐review journals, book chapters and rated with an h-index of 22 with more than 1750 citations. Supervised and co-supervised over 100 students in BsC, MSc and PhD. Holds a Level III Basketball Coach International Certificate and had several training experiences in basketball as headcoach. Currently he is a Head of the Department of Sport Sciences Exercise and Health at UTAD and  his experience in national and international funded projects allow him to work as a project coordinator in FEMCoach.

Graça Sofia Monteiro Pinto & Sara Diana Leal dos Santos

Graça Sofia Monteiro Pinto graduate in Physical Education and Sports and Ph.D. in Sports Sciences at UTAD. Auxiliar Professor since 2011, still 20 years of experience as university teacher, and 10 as researcher. Over the years had relevant positions as coordinator and vice-coordinator of bachelor and master degree courses. Trainer nº CCPFC/RFO-25361/09 by the Scientific and Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education. Member of the Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD http://www.cidesd.utad.pt) since 2019 and researcher on the financed Projects “OneHcancer – One health approach in animal cancer” (NORTE-01-0145-FEDER-000078) and “SoilRec4+Health – Soil recover for a healthy food and quality of life” (NORTE-01-0145-FEDER-000083). (2021-2023)). UTAD Team Manager of project “Sistema de Vigilância e Monitorização da Atividade Física e Desportiva” financed by Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth (part of a Nation-wide project 2016-2018). Internal Erasmus interlocutor and academic responsible person within Erasmus+ academic programs.from 2010-2023.

Sara Diana Leal dos Santos graduate in Physical Education and School Sports and PhD in Sport Science at UTAD, Postdoctoral Grants from the Symbiotic Technology for Societal Efficiency Gains: Deus ex Machina project and Macro-to-Nano Human Sensing: Towards Integrated Multimodal Health Monitoring and Analytics’. Auxiliar Professor since 2023 although presents almost 10 years of experience as research scientist, with relevant achievements and awards as young researcher: first prize in the Sports Psychology and Pedagogy Category in 2020 supported by the Olympic Committee of Portugal, two honorable mentions both for achieving high-level standards as a young researcher provided by the CIDESD http://www.cidesd.utad.pt) and by the Basketball National Association (in 2019) and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Seal of Excellence and a Ruth B. Noller Award (in 2018). Developer and coordinator of Skills4Genis traning program, funded by Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation.

Thrasyvoulos Tsiatsos

Thrasyvoulos Tsiatsos (Associate Professor), is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Director of the Software and Interactive Technologies Laboratory. He obtained his Diploma, his Master’s Degree and his PhD from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of Patras University (Greece). His research interests include Virtual Learning Environments, Game Based Learning & Gamification, Mobile Learning, Cognitive Training Using ICT, Bio-Feedback Interfaces to Support in The Educational Process and Learning, CSCL, Distance learning, Learning Technologies, MOOCs. He has published more than 280 papers in Journals and in well-known refereed conferences. He is General Chair of International Conference on Interactive Mobile Communication Technologies and Learning. Also, he was cochair of various international conferences (ICL2021, REV2023, EDUCON2024, ICBL2017). He has been a PC member and referee in various international journals and conferences. He has participated in many international R&D projects in the area of learning technologies such as EPICUR, GOAL, HALT, ColMOOC. Also, he is member of IEEE, IGIP and IAOE (Executive Committee member).

Styliani Douka

Styliani Douka (Professor) obtained her Diploma and her PhD from the department of Physical Education and Sport Science of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). Her research interests are Physical education, Greek traditional dances, Physiological and Psychological benefits of sport, Health and Sport and Sociology of Sport and Leisure. She is responsible coordinator ECTS for her department and member of the curriculum development committee. She has published more than 160 papers in Journals and in well-known refereed conferences and she is co-author in 5 books. She has been a PC member and referee in various international journals and conferences. She is also involved in numerous sport and cultural event organizing committees. She is also member of the Laboratory of Sport, Tourism and Recreation Management of the Physical Education and Sport Science of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (www.sportourmanlab.auth.gr). Stela will mainly work on e-learning platform creation and community of practice development.

Víctor López Ros

Dr. Víctor López Ros, graduate in Physical Education (University of Barcelona) and PhD in Psychology (University of Girona). Post doc in the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Currently Associate Professor (full) in the University of Girona teaching in Physical Education degree.  Ex Director of the Chair of Sports and Physical Education- Centre of Olympic Studies (2004-2023) in the University of Girona. Member of the Institute of Educational Research in the same university, his research interests are related to motor development, sports training, and teaching and learning processes in physical education and sport. With experience in pedagogy and sports training with children and young athletes, is also currently working with young sports talents and high-performance athletes.

Raquel Font-Lladó

Dra. Raquel Font-Lladó, graduate in Physical Education (University of Barcelona) and PhD in Pedagogy (University of Barcelona).  Currently, she is an Associate Professor (full), a researcher at the Educational Research Institute (IRE), and Director of the Chair of Sports and Physical Education- Centre of Olympic Studies in the University of Girona. Her teaching is performed in the Physical Education degree, and Federació Catalana d’Orientació (FCOC) Training-Coach Courses, using different didactics methodologies to achieve students’ learning. Her recent research is focused on development and health in children and youth including topics such as integrated neuromuscular training, motor development and physical activity. Finally, her management experience provides her with different teamwork competencies.

Julio Calleja

Julio Calleja, a renowned personal trainer, has worked with elite athletes including Alberto Iñurrategui, Eneko Acero, Clemente Alonso, and Yahaira Aguirre. He has extensive experience as a physical trainer for various teams, such as the Spanish Basketball Team and the Tenerife professional basketball club. Additionally, he has contributed to the physical preparation of the Basque Rugby Federation and served as a consultant for the Croatian Football Federation. Calleja is currently a Personal Performance Scientist for NBA players Serge Ibaka and Oscar de Marcos and is a member of the advisory board for the EUROLAGUE basketball players association. He has delivered over 1000 speeches globally, published numerous books and scientific articles, and holds teaching positions at several universities, including UPV/EHU and the Spanish Olympic Committee’s Olympic Center for Higher Studies.

Leonardo Cunha

Leonardo Cunha is currently working since November 2019 at the University of Cape Verde as an Invited teacher in the Sports Management master’s degree. Also, he is an External Project Manager and an Advisor to the President of the Cabo Verde Olympic Committee. He is an experienced Sports Project Manager in Cape Verde and African Portuguese-speaking countries. Also, he is a competent manager in the Olympic Movement and has an International certification by the International Olympic Committee as an Advance Program Director. His background and experience allow him to work as a project manager and organizational developer in any non-profit project. He was the designer of the M-Olympics Program (gender equality in Sports) and a member of the IOC Working Towards Gender Equality in Sport group.

Raul Jorge Duarte Soulé

Raul Jorge Duarte Soulé is a multifaceted individual who has made significant strides in various domains. As the Secretary-General of the Cabo Verde Olympic Committee, he has demonstrated unparalleled dedication and leadership in fostering sports development and promoting athletic excellence within the nation. His commitment to excellence was further recognized when he was selected as a Mandela Washington Fellow in 2023, a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities and commitment to community engagement. Additionally, Raul is a co-founder of R4IN Investimentos, Lda, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to fostering economic growth and investment opportunities in Cabo Verde. His diverse experiences and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to make a profound impact across multiple spheres, contributing positively to the growth and development of his community and country.

Marina Vukotić

With over ten years of experience as a project coordinator at Association Sport for All Serbia, Marina possesses a robust skill set in managing EU-funded projects, from conception to implementation. Her expertise extends to meticulously analyzing EU documentation and cultivating both local and international partnerships, particularly in the realm of grassroots sports events and intercultural dialogue initiatives. Proficient in organizing events, conducting training sessions, and crafting comprehensive reports, Marina strategically utilize social media platforms to enhance outreach efforts. In her previous role as a project manager at AKUD Ivo Lola Ribar, Marina refined her abilities in conceptualizing projects, budgeting effectively, and delegating tasks within teams. Additionally, her tenure as an attaché for the Belgrade Universiade involved adeptly coordinating delegation meetings and overseeing logistical arrangements for the volleyball team. Armed with a Master’s degree in Economics specializing in finance and banking, coupled with accreditation from the Sport Accord Academy, Marina offers a comprehensive understanding of project management and sports administration, ensuring excellence in every undertaking.

Marija Ugrica is a dynamic professional adept at driving success in EU-funded projects through meticulous planning and execution. With a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills, she has fostered strong partnerships domestically and internationally, resulting in impactful events and conferences that promote grassroots sports and intercultural dialogue. Her ability to craft compelling reports, manage social media platforms, and excel in PR and marketing underscores her versatility and creativity. Leveraging her background in French language and literature, coupled with experience in cultural event management, she brings a unique blend of expertise to any endeavor. Marija Ugrica is a versatile professional with a solid background in international cooperation, education, and event planning. Currently working as an Associate for International Cooperation and Projects at ASFAS, she contributes to both national and international programs and initiatives and facilitates communication among diverse stakeholders. Prior to this, she honed her editorial and administrative skills at Radio Television of Serbia and showcased her pedagogical expertise as a French Teacher at Savremena International School and the University of Belgrade.

His areas of interest are sports fundamentals, physical education, pedagogy and didactics. Beside ADDJ, he is also a Professor in the University Lusófona, with experience in subjects like „sport for children and youth“ or „educational psychology“ after having been responsible for „motor development“ and „motor control and learning“ in previous experiences in other higher-education institutions. Moreover, he’s a partner in Qantara Sports, a global consulting firm specialized in the sport sector, where he had been responsibility in design national and international strategies for different umbrella organizations and countries in the topics of coach education or child protection. He’s an expert of European Commission for sport topics and a consultant of the Enlarged-partial agreement of Sport of the Council of Europe. He is a certified coach in Karate and Judo.

Jorge Arede

Jorge Arede holds a PhD in Sport Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Physical Activity. Since 2005, he has coached youth basketball teams. Jorge is a certified basketball coach (grade 2) and has served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Portuguese U16 Men’s Basketball Team. As the founder of the Portuguese Basketball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, he collaborates with the Federação Portuguesa de Basquetebol as a tutor for Grade I and II basketball trainees. His commitment extends to education, where he holds lectures at academic institutions and serves as a guest lecturer at Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea. In the field of sports sciences, Jorge is a researcher who has conducted peer review activities for top-level journals.
